Privacy & Cookies
This page explains what Carpathis stores in your browser and how we measure traffic. Analytics and the web fonts the site loads are the only processing of personal data it performs today.
Who we are
The controller of the data described here is [LEGAL ENTITY], [ADDRESS], Romania. For any question about this page or about your data, write to [CONTACT EMAIL].
What this page covers
Cookies, web analytics and web fonts — nothing else. The early access form and the search controls on the home page are inactive placeholders: they send nothing to a server and store nothing. Before the form starts collecting addresses, this page will be extended.
Analytics
We count visits with Matomo, an analytics tool we run on our own server at analytics.gazolin-production.com. The data stays there: it is not shared with third parties, not sold, and not used for advertising or profiling. Matomo is loaded only after you accept — if you decline, the script is never requested and the analytics server never sees your visit. We keep the collected visit data for [RETENTION PERIOD].
Fonts
The site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts. That request is made on every visit, before and independently of your answer to the cookie banner, and it discloses your IP address to Google. It sets no cookie.
Cookies we set
_pk_id
Matomo, 13 months. Tells a returning visit apart from a new one.
_pk_ses
Matomo, 30 minutes. Groups page views into a single visit.
_pk_ref
Matomo, 6 months. Remembers which site or search brought you here.
carpathis-consent
Local storage, kept until you clear your browser data. Holds your answer to the cookie banner. It is strictly necessary — without it the banner would ask on every page — so it is stored whether you accept or decline. If your browser blocks local storage, nothing is stored and analytics stays off.
The 13-month, 30-minute and 6-month lifetimes are Matomo defaults.
Legal basis
Analytics runs on your consent, Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. Until you give it, no analytics cookie is set and no request reaches the analytics server.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you may request access to your data, its correction or erasure, restriction of processing, and you may object to it. Write to [CONTACT EMAIL].
You can withdraw consent at any time through "Cookie settings" in the footer. Withdrawing is as easy as giving consent, and it does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
If you believe we handle your data unlawfully, you may lodge a complaint with the Romanian supervisory authority, ANSPDCP.
